Gary has been a member of the BHC family since 1980.  He started his career at BHC as a “pen & ink” draftsman while earning his engineering degree at the University of Texas at Arlington.  After graduation in 1984, he stayed with the firm as an engineer in training and became a full engineering partner in the firm in 1989.  Now as Alternate Managing Partner and key member of the executive leadership team at BHC, he ensures the employees and partners of the firm are active contributors to the success of our clients.

In addition to municipal engineering design services, Gary’s true value to the firm and his clients is his depth of experience and knowledge in matters related to performing the function as “City Engineer”.  Over his 40-year career, he has acted a City Engineer for over ten (10) municipalities in north Texas.  Today, he acts as City Engineer for the Cities of Murphy, Aubrey and Anna; and provides valuable input to his partner’s in this role for other cities as well.

Mr. Hendricks also leads the firm’s professional land surveying services.  As a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor for over 25-years, he oversees the firm’s field surveying services and supervises the land boundary survey production in support of our client’s projects.  Gary makes sure the BHC surveying services are available only for in-house and municipal client’s use.  This approach provides a unique and valuable resource reserved strictly and exclusively to serve our client’s needs.
